Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a PHD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
  • Deep understanding of modern computer architectures or System on Chip features like virtualization technologies or major architectural blocks like Memory Controllers or Central.
  • Processing Units or Storage or Networking solutions for Cloud or Datacenter infrastructures.
  • Capable of leading technical deep dives into software solutions used in at scale environments or datacenter infrastructure, cloud native operating systems, or virtualization technologies.
  • Platform or system level debug and validation experience.
  • Data analytical skills- Knowing how to use large scale data and analytical tools.
  • Excellent communication skills using various forms of media.
  • Knowledge of embedded programming and C/C++/C# concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate the scaling factors for cloud systems’ debug. Include, not limited to: creation of AI based tools that serve as key ingredients scaling of data center fleet management methods, the design and implementation of diagnostics algorithms, improvements in human intervention remediation, and implement algorithms for hardware maintenance in remote fleets.
  • Assists in the design and execution of system level end to end debug solutions for at scale data center systems.
  • Participate in collaboration projects with hardware, firmware and software teams that drive systemic root cause analysis.
  • Contribute in the development of world class at scale debug methodologies, test strategies and test routines in data center solutions, by leveraging data analytics that help isolate the root cause of the failures observed.
  • Solve problems relating to mission critical services and build automation to drive HW debug efficiency.
  • Effectively communicate with partners and stakeholders for planning and progress on initiatives using data.
