Requirements

  • We’re looking for an intern for this summer 2024, to support Engineering operations across 9 functions (Mechanical, Thermal, DVT, Compliance, EMC, Safety, Power, PCB, HW-Labs) and ~ 40 projects

Responsibilities

  • Project for this internship will be improve planning & budgeting forecast for new programs for the function stated above. Improve in terms of more accurate forecast in a shorter time.
  • We are working today with Service Level Agreement (SLA) documents for different NPI Product types. Several variables will come into play: product type, development choice, geography, test to be performed.
  • Project will include identify key driver for resources and cost for each function, develop a model based on past SLA, validate with current programs.
  • You’ll have the opportunity for a high level view of the different Juniper product types (Pizzabox, Modular system w/ variable height, Linecard, Fabric card, Power Supply), experience the Hardware development cycle, understand cost structure, experience budgeting and resource planning, and see trade-offs between equipment, time and labor.
