Requirements

  • Across all of our teams, there are a number of transferrable skills, behaviours and areas of knowledge that make a great Systems Operator
  • An inquisitive mindset. The world of sports technology is constantly evolving and as such we are looking for individuals that continue to push the boundaries of our products and services;
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Common sense and use of initiative, diligence, resilience, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and enthusiasm;
  • Good standard of computer literacy and the ability to learn new software and other technologies;
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines;
  • Buy-in to the Hawk-Eye ethic of hard work and going the extra mile to deliver a world-class service to our customers;
  • Flexible and willing to travel extensively;

Responsibilities

  • Pre-match/event planning and setting up Hawk-Eye technology in the stadium (this can involve physically demanding work, such as rigging cameras and running cables);
  • Conducting pre-match checks;
  • Liaising with stadium staff, match officials and host broadcasters;
  • Monitoring/using the systems during matches;
  • Monitoring hardware and software performances, being able to troubleshoot and report encountered issues;
  • Playing an active role in software testing and development;
  • During the off-season, building and maintaining our hardware and equipment;
  • Assisting with installation and testing of new products and services.
