Description
During your 1-year industrial placement you will undertake the role of Assistant HR Business Partner supporting the Head of HR and HR Business Partners aligned to two of our UK Construction Services businesses, Asset & Technology Solutions and Regional Civils. Alongside this, you will gain exposure and experience in areas of interest outside of the businesses including:
- Engagement Diversity & Inclusion
- Learning & Development
- Employee Relations
- Resourcing
- Reward
- HR Shared Services
- HR Data, Systems & Analytics
Area of Responsibilities
People, HR & Administration
Responsibilities
- Supporting the HR calendar Annual Salary Review, Bonus, Training Plans, Strategy / Employee Awards, Engagement Survey etc.
- Supporting People Plans Local Inductions, People Reviews, Talent Reviews, Recruitment Initiatives, Engagement Initiatives such as employee awards, Reverse Mentoring, Organising Campaigns e.g. National Inclusion Week, Baby Loss Awareness Week, World Menopause Day etc.
- Support with organising events - e.g. annual HR conference, Early Careers induction
- Organising content for the monthly HR All Hands Call a great way to build your connections and knowledge of the function
- Part of the working group / lead on organising the annual HR conference
- Annual Report leading on the people section
- Reinvigorating our SharePoint pages
Requirements
- On track to gain a minimum of 2:2 in a business related or HR degree
- Ideally previous work experience and/or a keen interest in HR
- Eligibility to work and live in the UK at the time of joining
- Ideally hold a full UK driving licenceat the time of joining
