  • Education:
  • Recent graduate (within the last 6 months) or Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program Junior or Senior year.
  • Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team as well as acting autonomously as appropriate
  • Languages: English-Spanish
  • Willing to learn and get hands-on experience
  • Attention to detail and follow through
  • Dedication to the team’s success

Responsibilities

  • The intern will learn the process of identifying profiles for the candidate pool, understanding the criteria and qualifications required for different positions within the organization.
  • Through hands-on experience, the intern will learn how to effectively screen candidates, utilizing various screening methods to assess their fit for specific roles.
  • While assisting in different HR projects, the intern will develop project management skills, including task prioritization, time management, and coordination with team members to achieve project goals.
  • The intern will become familiar with the use of Workday (WD) on the Talent Acquisition (TA) module, gaining practical experience in navigating and utilizing HRIS systems for recruitment purposes.
  • Through participation in interviews across different areas of the organization, the intern will enhance their communication skills, learning how to effectively communicate with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
  • The intern will participate in meetings with various departments to learn about the organization's structure and platform, gaining insights into how HR interacts with other areas of the business.
  • The intern will continue to develop strong Excel and data analytic skills by working on data reconciliation and analysis tasks. They will learn how to extract and analyze HR data to generate valuable insights for decision-making processes.
