  • As the Human Resources Intern, you will support Barstool Sports by providing day-to-day support for the entire HR Department and get exposed to each aspect of Human Resources. The HR Intern will assist the People Team with, assisting with offer letters, recruitment, new hire onboarding, assisting with employee engagement initiatives, as well as assisting to provide administrative support and office operations to the People Team.


  • Must have graduated as of May 2024
  • You are available May 28th – August 30th
  • Excitement about kickstarting a career in Human Resources
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Outstanding communication (both verbal and written), presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Team player and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience with G-Suite and basic reporting functionality

  • Get to know the hiring process by scheduling candidate phone screens, digital interviews, and in-person interviews while ensuring an engaging candidate experience
  • Partner with HRBP in assisting managers with opening requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System
  • Review and understand Barstool’s benefit offerings and learn how the benefit offerings impact employee engagement
  • Learn how to adapt to constantly changing state and federal employment laws
  • Work collaboratively with other HR team members to proactively and creatively come up with ideas on HR best practices and employee engagement activities
  • Employee onboarding and offboarding with the inclusion of new hire orientations and exit interviews
  • Learn how to accurately answer employee questions related to Paid Time Off (PTO), benefits, etc
  • Assist with the planning of monthly events
  • Support daily office operations with inventory and stock of office and kitchen supplies and communication
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned: including, but not limited to, administrative functions, special projects, etc
