Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled as an incoming Junior – Senior in a relevant Bachelor’s program (See Desired Skills).
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products & remote meeting software
  • Must have availability for the full 10-week program as space is limited
  • Must be a self-starter, highly passionate & detail oriented
  • Active ability to problem solve & communicate effectively
  • Knowledge and passion for our brand is a plus!
  • Desired Skills:
  • Area of Study: Human Resources, Communications, Sociology/Social Sciences, Organizational Development, Management, or a related program/field.
  • Exceptional planning, coordination, project management and implementation skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to present topics in group settings.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Positive attitude with a passion for delivering a positive customer/employee experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills, demonstrated by the ability to assimilate current information and understand complex topics.
  • Ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to take initiative and drive for results.
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel

Responsibilities

  • The ER intern will work with our RHRM’s to provide case administration and investigation support for cases reported through our Ethics Hotline. Additionally, the ER intern may engage with Asset Protection, Customer Relations and our Store Operations team regarding case information. They will review all key employment policies, will take part in/shadow employee relations calls, and will analyze data from Navex. The ER Intern will review the type of calls that are currently escalated within the employee hotline, as well as directly to the RHRM’s, and perform analysis to identify the most common themes and trends, develop recommended next steps to include training opportunities and process optimization.
