Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B or F-1 status)
  • Desired Skills:
  • At least Sophomore standing for undergrad at the time of application
  • Able to work at least 12 weeks (starting the end of May or early June through August)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet.
  • Self-starter.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Graphic design skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly between People & Culture and various departments, ensuring a collaborative approach.
  • Trend Tracker: Research DEI and Supplier Diversity trends, providing valuable insights and benchmarking.
  • Event Planning: plan DEI employee events and workshops to enhance the DEI experience
  • ERG Support: support Employee Resource Groups (ERG) activities and events
  • Communications: create a strategy for DEI to be in Navistar’s weekly employee newsletter
