Description

  • We are excited to announce the J.Jill Corporate focused Internship Program, our summer 2024 internship which is a 10-week paid internship program running from June through August.
  • This program is a full-time summer commitment. We are currently on a hybrid schedule, so students will be expected to work partially on-site and partially at home.
  • This program is designed to give rising juniors and seniors an opportunity to gain hands on insight and knowledge within a specialty Retail Company. Interns will participate in daily business activities in their assigned department while having the opportunity to learn about the company overall. Interns will also be able to learn from J. Jill’s senior leaders.
  • We are looking to bring on an enthusiastic and driven Human Resources Intern to assist our department with exceptional customer service in the various pillars of our department. As an HR intern with J.Jill you will have the opportunity to make an impact on our internship program by managing the internship program calendar, enhance our Associate Engagement program, and take on a market research project among other exciting initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.

Requirements

  • Working toward a Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A curiosity and desire to learn

Responsibilities

  • Lead an HR-driven market research project
  • Assist with the internship program to include managing and coordinating calendar events
  • Manage job posts in Applicant Tracking System and externally to various career sites and college boards
  • Partner with HR Business Partner on Associate Relation investigations
  • Assist in J. Jill’s internal Associate Referral Program
  • Prepare HR-related reports as needed
  • Assist Human Resources team in preparation for new associate orientation program.
  • Assists in completion of special projects as required
