Requirements

Actively pursuing Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or coursework relating to HR;
Prior work experience in an office environment;
Strong interest in full life cycle recruitment process;
High caliber of self-motivation;
Superior interpersonal skills and positive demeanor;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to work independently, remain flexible and handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment;
Strong attention to detail;
Sound judgment capability; and
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

Support the local Human Resources team through daily tasks and special projects;
Assist in orientation and onboarding of new hires including conducting new hire orientation and welcome calls;
Collaborate with the HR Manager and HR Generalist to provide recruiting support consistent with business and office needs. Schedule phone, video, and on-site interviews. Conduct reference checks;
Interact with employees and management communicating Human Resource policies, programs, procedures, and government regulations;
Maintain office bulletin boards ensuring up-dated federal and state employment law postings; and
Perform other duties as requested.
