Requirements

  • Currently studying for or possessing a bachelor’s degree in a mathematical, computational, or scientific discipline.
  • Experience with programming, preferably in Python.
  • Possibly some experience of machine learning tools and libraries (SciKit Learn, PyTorch, etc.).
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good logical problem solvingproblemsolving skills
  • Proactive selfstarter with a drive for innovation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in IT skills, including MS Office.
  • Wellorganised with exceptional prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support with crafting and implementing techniques for quantitative measurement in digital images.
  • Support with developing proofof-concept and prototype software.
  • Writing technical documentation describing the methods developed and supporting the drafting of publications.
  • Presenting findings and progress internally to the Imaging Science and wider R&D teams.
