Requirements

  • Must be currently be enrolled in a full-time Undergraduate, Graduate, or Doctorate Student
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance
  • These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Secret Clearance
  • A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Network, or Business, or related field is preferred, not required
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required
  • Looking for candidates who are self-starters, interested in IT, Engineering, Systems Engineering process, Computer Science, Electronics, Business Admin
  • Skill in using scientific rules and methods to solve problems
  • Knowledge of new and emerging information technology technologies
  • Ability to research current technology to understand capabilities of required system or network
  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)

Responsibilities

  • Researching, planning, designing, developing, modifying and evaluating mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical or thermal hydraulic systems.
  • Apply knowledge of mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, or manufacturing to these activities.
  • Write test procedures, compiles and evaluates design and test data and prepares technical specifications.
  • Recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products or processes.
  • Coordinate with technical support personnel to conduct prototype or experimental runs for products or processes.
