  • You will be a member of a highly collaborative Agile delivery team of information security professionals who are responsible for providing best-in-class security capabilities that keep Intel secure and deliver business value to our stakeholders.
  • We are looking for an undergraduate student in their 3rd or 4th year of college who is highly motivated and willing to work part time (20 hours per week) for 6 months and further develop their information security skills.
  • As an Information Security Engineer Undergrad Intern, you will be partnering with Information Security Analysts, Database Administrators, Engineers, Architects and Stakeholders.


  • You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor's degree with three years related job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a nonSTEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a bachelor's degree and less than three years' experience.
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Cyber/Information Security, Mathematics/Statistics, or other science/engineering related field.

  • Information security models and concepts
  • Data Analytics
  • Cloud Computing and Cloud Security Components
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Data science, data analytics, and data visualization/reporting techniques and tools
