Requirements

The essential requirements of the job include:
Working towards a Bachelor of Sciences in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
High level understanding of security frameworks, standards, best practices (e.g. NIST, CIS, ISO 27001) and security assessment tools and methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Relevant information security industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct information security risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities, threats, and risk to the organization’s information and systems.
Maintain a constant focus on risk methodologies that reduce and mitigate cyber-risks using industry-based processes, tools, and metrics.
A final project will be assigned to intern in the information security risk assessment domain that will help mature the program.
