Requirements

Associate’s degree in IT related field preferred
0-2 years of technical support experience in a Windows environment. Linux experience useful but not required
Experience working with Office 365 and other cloud environments
Solid knowledge of Wide & Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP and general networking
Technical knowledge of Hypervisors or VDI technology is desirable.
Technical knowledge or direct experience with Cisco, Sonicwall Firewalls, Routers, Switches and Wireless Solutions
Good customer service skills
Successful candidates must be positive team players who are committed to excellence
Ability to work independently and proactively
Ability to lift or push up to 50 pounds
Quartus is looking for aspiring individuals who want to make a difference in the world and in themselves. Our ideal internship candidates are:
Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors currently enrolled at a four-year institution
Majoring in an Information Technology field
Proactive, open-minded, eager to learn and willing to work hard as part of a team
Available part time for specified term (15-20 hours per week)
Must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident)

Responsibilities

Assist IT department in providing technical support to end users
Assist in performing routine installs and upgrades of computer systems
Assist in writing documentation for computer systems procedures
Assist in issuing/resetting passwords and setting up end users with proper equipment (e.g. computer and phone)
Other assigned IT related projects
