Requirements

Candidates should be pursuing a related IT degree or career and have practical or theoretical coding experience.
An interest in pursuing a career with a property and casualty insurance company is desired.
Full-time, paid internship at $17.00 hourly starting May 2024 through August 2024 based on school schedule. A minimum commitment of 2-3 months is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as a team in a hybrid work environment
Has a willingness to take on a diverse set of projects and deliver high quality work

Responsibilities

Software development activities with the supervision of an experienced developer.
Leveraging Microsoft Business Intelligence solutions to provide data analysis and reporting methods. Tools include Microsoft SQL, PowerBI, PowerPivot, and PerformancePoint.
Assist in reviewing business requirements and creating technical specifications.
Analyze data, evaluate technology, and recommend solutions as assigned.
Research projects in the area of DevOps, AI, or other guided technical research.
Help create or improve technical documentation. This includes ongoing efforts around an Enterprise Architecture Framework.
