Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current student or recent graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy, required- Current licensure by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy as an Intern, required- At least six (6) months of retail pharmacy experience, preferred
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, Walking

Responsibilities

  • Assist the pharmacist in all phases of drug distribution and monitoring. Fill orders and manage inventories for floor stock. Refill, exchange, charge, and credit medications.
  • Fill orders and refill and stock medications for all departments and affiliates, including management of automatic dispensing units when assigned.
  • Support the clinical functions of the department by assisting the pharmacist in retrieving data, screening profiles and doing calculations.
  • Serve as a back up to other support positions. Complete assignments designed to complement the academic learning requirements of pharmacy licensure and practices
