What are the general responsibilities of the intern position?
The intern will conduct field and laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates.
What specific tasks will the intern be performing?
The intern will perform sampling or testing as directed, assist other field and/or laboratory personnel, transport equipment and specimens, provide physical assistance in equipment set-up, clean equipment and work areas, assist technicians or professional staff on routine tasks, and will experience progressively increased training and responsibility.
What qualifications are required for the intern position?
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be currently pursuing a BS degree in a science or related field (such as environmental, safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, or geology). The ideal candidate should also have less than one year remaining to complete their BS degree.
