Requirements

  • Junior or Senior level student working on a degree in Accounting/Finance or other related degree.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Demonstrated high proficiency in analytical and critical thinking using facts from data via Excel or other insight models
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment and develop relationships across functional groups
  • Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects while taking guidance from different project sponsors
  • High level of energy and sense of urgency; self-starter; strong and effective multi-tasker
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Responsibilities

  • Support the Accounting team in providing timely, accurate and insightful reporting and analysis related to Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Able to learn and prepare supporting information for month-end journal entries
  • Deliver support in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ability to demonstrate to work collaboratively with other team members on special projects
  • Skillfully utilize the companys accounting software (SAP) and other ad hoc accounting tools
  • Assist with accounting projects as assigned
