Requirements

  • Qualified candidates must have the following
  • Candidate must have completed all coursework of their Junior year in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or other applicable engineering disciplines with a projected graduation date in late 2025 or mid 2026
  • Demonstrated software development experience
  • Experience with high-level object-oriented programming languages such as C# or C++
  • Proven experience developing desktop applications
  • Must have dotNet experience
  • Self-starter. Willing and able to quickly learn new applications and technologies
  • Based on customer requirements and nature of work, Candidates must be a US Citizen with eligibility to receive a security clearance in the future
  • Additional required skills: candidates must have at least 1 of the following:
  • Strong knowledge of core electrical engineering principles (e.g. FFT, IQ signal analysis)
  • Familiarity with development and debugging with Visual Studio deploying to Windows and Linux desktop targets
  • Project experience running custom kernels on GPUs
  • Experience with RF hardware (Signal generators, Signal Analyzers, Oscilloscopes)

  • Join the Keysight EMSO (Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations) team, a leader in cutting-edge defense technology, where innovation meets national security.
  • We are at the forefront of developing advanced electronic warfare test systems & software with a forward-looking design & technology implementation.
  • We are seeking an intern to assist with the development of cutting-edge software that compliments customer opportunities in electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO) as part of the Aerospace Defense & Government Solutions group.
  • The primary focus of the individual will be to extend the capabilities of our Z9500A Keysight EW Threat Simulation software with their development efforts to design, architect, and implement needed software blocks.
