Requirements

  • Education Requirements:
  • Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university- rising Masters or PhD level status at the start of the internship, graduating August 2024 – May 2025.
  • Major/Degree: In pursuit of degree in CS, MIS, or related field
  • Proficiency and understanding of:
  • SQL
  • Alteryx
  • MS SQL Server
  • Power BI
  • Understanding of Microsoft Fabrics is a plus
  • Snowflake knowledge is a plus
  • Professional Attributes:

Responsibilities

  • As Business Intelligence Developer intern in our Finance organization, you will work directly on our team that works in data management to support the close process, week to week operations, and other ventures.
  • Tasks during the 10 weeks will require the intern to use software such as SQL, Alteryx, MS SQL Server, MS Power BI to create reports covering a wide range of areas including financial, operational and sales reporting systems as well as supporting data marts / databases.
  • The prospective intern will also be working with exploratory datasets for projects ranging from complex SQL joins to Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Other tasks may include:
  • Learning to use in-house developed tools, develop within agreed standards, and design guidelines
  • Working with multiple organizations to identify reporting and metric needs and requirements
  • Support ad hoc requests and projects as requested by the supported organizations and teams
  • Work with SSIS & linked servers to Extract-Transform-Load data in preparation for reporting work
