  • Candidate will support the validation and characterization of RFICs in pSemi’s UltraCMOS technology for commercial and industrial applications. Product lines include high performance RF switches, amplifiers, mixers, LNA’s, VCOs, and PLLs.

  • Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills):
  • Hands on experience of RF measurement equipment to validate performance of CMOS RF ICs, such as NF, phase noise, IP3, IP2, matching using smith charts, time domain measurements etc.
  • Solid understanding of basic circuit theory
  • Proficiency with general lab equipment such as: power supplies, o-scopes, multi-meters, spectrum analyzers
  • Familiarity with RF test topics such as: 1 dB compression, smith charts, s-parameters, noise figure, power, pulsed power, harmonics, etc.
  • Good software programming skills
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strength in documentation clarity and completeness
  • Cooperative team member with a strong sense of urgency to meet product requirements on schedule
  • Willingness to go beyond what’s required
  • Education Requirements:
  • Current student in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineering or equivalent, preferably with completing 3+ year; or MSEE candidate
