Responsibilities

  • Support the Volvo CE Shippensburg Communications Team in regularly and proactively articulating the mission, goals, and progress of the company and strategy through various communications forums, including:
  • Writing and editing news articles
  • Support site leaders, including the Operations Leadership Team, to communicate effectively
  • Producing and editing videos
  • Editing and designing printed and digital newsletters
  • Proactively communicating strategic updates through various multi-media channels such as plasma screens, newsletter, intranet systems etc.
  • Working with various departments to gather content for project updates and news articles
  • Organizing employee face-to-face events and meetings
  • Develop continuous improvement ideas for communication channels
  • Supporting event coordination and execution
  • Taking on-site photography
