Responsibilities

  • The Intern will work closely with the Head of Compliance and receive tangible experience working with complex compliance matters such as analyzing risk, how to mitigate risk, and an opportunity to become proficient in the tools used in managing compliance programs.
  • The Intern will also be responsible for researching a specific compliance topic and completing a presentation for MCRA leadership.
  • The Intern will be exposed to several areas of compliance relevant throughout the industry, including, but not limited to:
  • Conflicts of Interest (COI), Gifts & Hospitality (G&H), Third-Party Contracts, Due Diligence, Anti-Kickback Statutes, Sunshine Act, Compliance Assessments, Risk Assessments, Policy Reviews and Drafting, Investigation Processes and Compliance Research.
  • The Intern will have direct involvement with client-facing services, including, but not limited to:
  • Analyze anti-corruption and anti-kickback laws and present conclusions;
  • Draft memos and opinions;
  • Fulfilling requests for information for compliance assessments;
  • Creating compliance presentations.
