Requirements

  • Proven excellence in written communication skills.
  • Proven skills in effective one-on-one and group communications and comfort with working with all levels of community leaders, volunteers, and staff.
  • Ability to deal expertly in a corporate or non-profit environment and assume responsibility for guiding projects and programs from inception through completion.
  • Effective oral, written, and presentation interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment handling multiple priorities involving multiple entities.
  • Intermediate to excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of Canva. Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Required Equipment: Reliable WiFi Connection
  • Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 8:30am-5pm.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future. For any roles working remotely, the work must also be performed inside the United States, not in a foreign country.

Responsibilities

  • Content Library Management & Design:
  • Assist with indexing, updating, and organizing materials on the internal SharePoint site and external supporter website.
  • Creation of presentations, one-pagers, and supplemental materials for internal and external needs.
  • Build and handle supporter case studies, including connecting with internal staff to gain relevant information.
  • Industry Research:
  • Conduct weekly industry research on supporters and relevant nonprofit trends.
  • Meeting & Events Support:
  • Responsible for agendas and resource development for internal and external meetings.
  • Join Corporate Relations Directors on select external meetings to take notes and assist with meeting next steps.
  • Assist with pertinent events including management of the invite list, invitation design, special event planning, etc.
  • Team Projects:
  • Work with the project coordinator to track campaign materials spent against budget.
  • Work with the project coordinator to build and handle the library for contract intake forms and track accordingly
