Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a security-related field from an accredited university.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, IT systems, and network infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards relevant to the industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex compliance and security concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
  • A willingness to learn and a strong curiosity.

Responsibilities

  • The primary focus will be on building out our new compliance tool. Additionally, the appointed intern will have the opportunity to learn different areas of security (various controls, vulnerability management, incident response, etc.) to get a broad overview of how corporate security functions. Lastly, the intern will assist in the preparation of internal audits that will take place in the Fall of 2024.
