Requirements

  • Familiarity with Information Security concepts such as CIA triad, NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK Matrix.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, such as SIEM, EDR, VM,
  • Knowledge of common threats
  • Interested in at least one coding language (Python, Javascript, etc.)
  • Ability to triage events and perform independent analysis and quick investigation.
  • Ability to collaborate with other team members and organizational functions.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, especially with specific security measures that need to be implemented.

Responsibilities

  • Working on a project with a real business problem and its solution.
  • Applying the core Cybersecurity principles in real-world situations.
  • Learn about the NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF) and how it is applied in the Cybersecurity Program.
  • Partner with Cybersecurity Analysts to understand day-to-day operations.
  • Understand the various tools and technologies such as Security Information Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint, Detection and Response (EDR), Vulnerability Management, and Third-Party Risk Management to ensure smooth operations.
