Requirements

  • Basic experience with graphic design and web development programs.
  • Experience/interest in promotion, sales, or fundraising.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proven skills in effective one-on-one and group communications and comfort with working with all levels of community leaders, volunteers, and staff.
  • Ability to deal professionally in a corporate or non-profit environment and assume responsibility for guiding projects and programs from inception through completion.
  • Effective oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities involving multiple entities.
  • Intermediate to excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of Canva.
  • Required Equipment: Reliable WiFi Connection and reliable transportation.
  • Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 8:30am-5pm.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future. For any roles working remotely, the work must also be performed inside the United States, not in a foreign country.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with pulling reports and data entry
  • Update company historical grids
  • Research company information for prospects
  • Assist with Letter of Intent and Attachment A creation/processing
  • Communication tasks with companies to keep them on walk timeline.
  • Help to find connections to lapsed companies which will include online research.
  • Assist with Hands-only CPR events.
  • Planning and day-of support of company kick-offs, rally days, or company fundraising events (gather materials, assist with set up, and provide support and assistance during the event.
  • Assist Development Directors in gathering requested materials from companies as follow-up for company meetings.
  • Assist with Association spring events (Executive Breakfast & CycleNation)
  • Other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Development.
