Requirements

Qualifications We Require:
You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:
Earned bachelor's degree
Currently attending and enrolled full time in the spring term immediately preceding the internship (or scheduled to graduate in the spring) in an accredited related graduate program
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer
U.S. citizenship
Note: If you have not yet started your graduate program, please apply to an undergraduate intern position.
Qualifications We Desire:
Currently pursuing a graduate degree program in Architecture, Planning, Engineering, Business or other field related to project development
Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to develop technical ideas and results and present them in oral and written form.
Demonstrated abilities to work independently and to succeed as a member of a team.
Project support in design, project planning, scheduling, and financial reports
Exposure to preparation and maintenance of project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Broad understanding Facilities activities
Possess a strong dedication to positive teaming dynamic, strong written and verbal skills, detail oriented with a keen focus on customer service

Responsibilities

Engage in the development analyses, studies, projections, and strategies for facilities and site infrastructure improvements.
Assist in coordinating strategy development with strategic partners in leasing, specific Program areas, and the operational strategy for the Infrastructure Operations Division.
Communicate with peers, management, engineers, architects, to understand the funding sponsors and financial personnel on customers’ facility and/or infrastructure needs, timelines, and expected costs.
Gain exposure to track information and complete requirements in corporate and NNSA databases used to manage facility assets including real estate actions.
Help steward Sandia’s technology systems and data analytics approach used for Facilities and Infrastructure performance monitoring and reporting.
Perform structured problem solving, assurance management, process design, and information management functions for various stakeholders within the Facilities and Infrastructure functions.
