Requirements

BA/BSc in Accounting/Finance; or 1 year of related experience and working knowledge of accounting principles - beneficial but not essential
Independent, well organized, and a team player
Flexible proactive and willing to take on tasks outside of routine duties
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with competing deadlines

Responsibilities

Assist in processing journal entries for month close
Assist in preparing balance sheet reconciliations
Assist in preparing credit card reconciliations
Review and analyze travel spent across the organization
Perform variance analysis for the commercial and sporting parts of the businesses
Assist in accounts receivable/customer invoicing for sponsors, assuring that invoices adhere to customer contracts and are coded and entered correctly in the general ledger
Assist with the payment run process
Assist in running monthly financial analysis pack macro
Track, record, and deposit matchday ticketing checks and wires
Post ticketing checks and wires to the finance system
Maintain daily file that reconciles ticket sales to internal tickets operations system
Liaise with ticketing operations to help drive the reporting for financial and KPI matchday performance
Support maintenance of all fixed assets schedules
Maintain vendors file
Distribute match day catering invoices to business
Complete various ad hoc projects and analysis at request of Finance team
