Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination of PPIA Social and professional development activities: Take charge of planning and implementing various initiatives within the PPIA program.
  • Guide a cohesive student community: Cultivate strong and encouraging relationships among all PPIA students from underrepresented backgrounds, enhancing inclusivity and belonging with your own diverse perspective.
  • Provide oversight for PPIA Events: Personally attend and lead all aspects of all PPIA events, ensuring their smooth operation and adherence to program standards.
  • Participate in the summer Washington, DC trip: Engage actively in the PPIA summer trip to Washington, DC.
  • Develop resource guide and weekly event updates: Build and maintain a comprehensive resource guide along with weekly updates highlighting upcoming events and opportunities relevant to PPIA students.
  • Host weekly check-in sessions: Prioritize regular check-in hours to provide students with a dedicated forum for discussions, support, and feedback on their experiences within the program.
  • Assist with program orientation and graduation: Play a generous role in program orientation sessions and chip in with the organization and execution of graduation ceremonies for program participants.
