What responsibilities will the intern have in this position?
The intern will conduct field and laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates; perform sampling or testing as directed; assist other field and laboratory personnel; transport equipment, specimens or documents; clean equipment and work areas; and assist on routine tasks as needed.
What educational background is required for this internship?
A high school diploma is required, along with a BS degree in progress in a science or related field such as environmental, safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, or geology. The ideal candidate should have less than one year remaining to complete their BS degree.
