Requirements

You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:
Earned bachelor's degree
Currently attending and enrolled full time in an accredited science, engineering, or math graduate program
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
Ability to work up to 30 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents, asylees or refugees in the U.S.
Qualifications we desire:
Currently attending and enrolled full-time in an accredited Graduate Program
Pursuing a Life Science, Public Health, Veterinary Science, Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Instruction Design & Technology, or Mathematics
Pursuing a Graduate Degree in International Relations, Biology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Public Health, Computer Science, Statistics or related field
Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required, including prior experience with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel;
Demonstrated experience with learning management systems and with scientific literature indexing sites
The ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, and the ability to interact with a technically diverse group of staff members
Strong technical writing skills
Knowledge of international business cultures
Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform literature review tasks as directed by the Program Lead generally in the area of public health and governmental policies (e.g., WHO, WOAH, FAO, etc.)
Conduct research on biorisk management topics and track outcomes with respect to International Cooperative Threat Reduction.
Maintain and update collaborative data platforms and learning management system
Help develop distance learning modules
Collect data and perform analysis to inform decision making processes.
Apply knowledge in computer science to develop and implement animations for training materials, develop dashboards, automate tracking and reporting complex operations.
Contribute to project team discussions, presentations, and publications.
