Requirements

  • Candidate must be enrolled in a degree-granting program in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Studies, Gender Studies, International Development, Public Policy, or a related discipline) during the internship or must be a recent graduate (within eight months of graduation) of a college or university.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Prior research experience working on gender equality and climate change-related projects in developing economies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A strong willingness to take initiative and a desire to learn.
  • Must have a personal laptop computer and access to the Internet.
  • Must be available to work a maximum of 29 hours per week.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Provide research and writing support to develop knowledge products for GN&P.
  • Create communication materials, such as blog posts and social media content.
  • Support CCA's advocacy efforts by brainstorming engagement opportunities for new and existing clean cooking partnerships.
  • Participate in relevant meetings, including team meetings, all-staff meetings, internal webinars, and other learning opportunities.
  • Assist in developing and refining GN&P's strategic initiatives and programmatic goals.
  • Help with GN&P's fundraising initiatives by researching, creating grant applications, and developing fundraising materials.
  • Offer logistical and administrative support for ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
