Requirements

  • You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:
  • Earned bachelor's degree
  • Currently attending and enrolled full time in an accredited science, engineering, or math graduate program
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Ability to work up to 30 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Qualifications we desire:
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • BS/BA in Human Factors, Psychology, Computer Science /Engineering with emphasis on Human Centered Design or other relevant area of study
  • Currently pursuing MS/MA or Ph.D. in Human Factors, Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, Applied Psychology, Industrial Engineering, User Centered Design, Human Computer Interactions, or other relevant area of study
  • Prior experience with online data collection on platforms such as Amazon Mechanical Turk or Prolific
  • Prior research experience in the areas of human perception/comprehension of data visualizations, evaluation of data visualizations, visual saliency modeling, or risk communication
  • Able to obtain and maintain a DOE L Clearance
