The internship position is located in our Camden, Arkansas facility.
What are the essential functions of the intern in Manufacturing Production Planning?
The essential functions include developing manufacturing build plans, utilizing the MRP system for tracking material availability, managing floor stock of program components, collaborating with Manufacturing and Quality teams, and providing hardware status updates to the program team.
What qualifications are required for this internship?
A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related degree is required.
Are there any preferred skills for applicants?
Yes, preferred skills include knowledge of scheduling or supply chain planning, strong computer and analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge of MRP systems, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Is prior experience in supply chain planning necessary for this internship?
While prior experience in scheduling or supply chain planning is preferred, it is not explicitly required.
What types of software proficiency are needed for this position?
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and working knowledge of relational databases are needed. Experience with MRP or other enterprise planning and scheduling tools is also preferred.
