Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing build plans to meet customer contractual delivery schedules.
  • Utilize Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) system to input Master Schedule build plans, track material availability, status kit readiness, release shop orders, and maintain all shop order records and inventory integrity.
  • Update and maintain make items lead times within MRP system.
  • Manage floor stock of program components.
  • Work jointly with Manufacturing and Quality teams to execute build schedule and address any issues in a timely manner.
  • Work with Materials Planners to proactively manage the schedule and material dock dates to ensure accuracy of planning.
  • Provide hardware status, updates and performance statistics to program team based on status of hardware through Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
