  • Education:
  • The LA28 internship program is open to undergraduate students currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate's degree. Recent graduates are invited to apply as well, if their graduation date is within the 2023-2024 academic year.

Responsibilities

  • Content:
  • In partnership with Digital Marketing Manager, develop agendas for weekly internal content marketing and production meetings, as well as with partner agencies and contracted production teams.
  • Support with calendar planning and ongoing project management needs in relation to/but not limited to; social media, email planning, and web production using project management tools (Asana)
  • Support in-house storytelling production needs including but not limited to; setting up meetings/interviews, writing scripts, utilizing transcripts, sharing content ideas and sourcing feedback from stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date on cultural moments that LA28 should show up for in our social and email editorial calendar (i.e., recognized days, holidays, sporting events, Olympic/Paralympic trials, Olympic/Paralympic announcements, athlete accomplishments, etc.)
  • Assist in communicating with cross functional teams and stakeholders including but not limited to; External Communications, Community Relations, Athlete Team, Events, Athlete Fellows, Legal, and HR.
  • Collaborate with Social Media Intern in brainstorming potential social media campaigns and storytelling opportunities.
  • Data Monitoring:
  • Email: Training on email platform (Mailchimp) to unearth performance insights through the analytics dashboard
  • Data Tagging and Insights
  • Keep our Content Command Center (C3) link tracking conventions up to date for email, web and social media efforts.
  • Learn to tag data and assets for our data analytics dashboards and share with stakeholders based on digital content calendar deadlines.
  • Create processes for C3 to ensure consistency in tracking long term across all LA28 digital channels.
  • Learn and utilize C3, Tableau, and Brandwatch to monitor data performance, trends, and LA28 social conversations.
