Requirements

  • Demonstrated interest in marketing analytics, consumer insights or similar relevant field
  • Fluency working with MS Office suite products, with verifiable proficiency as an advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Proficiency with SQL and other data management frameworks such as Python
  • Familiarity with web analytics, social media metrics and related analytics tools preferred
  • Proficiency with core statistical analysis concepts
  • Demonstrated impact supporting multiple work streams for different stakeholders
  • A structured thought process with well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to resolve issues amidst ambiguity and without a playbook
  • Leadership :
  • Candidate must be a self-starter, a creative thinker, ambitious, and results-oriented, with experience in defining tasks, seeking feedback, and evolving work where applicable
  • Ability to work effectively in a close team environment, providing project management for multiple projects and initiatives in parallel
  • Proven ability of building good interpersonal relationships with stakeholders across the organization, while balancing assertiveness with diplomacy

  • Education:
  • The LA28 internship program is open to undergraduate students currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate's degree. Recent graduates are invited to apply as well, if their graduation date is within the 2023-2024 academic year.

Responsibilities

  • Support Campaign and Content Effectiveness Reporting:
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Consumer Insights & Analytics to enhance and deliver value-added reporting for campaigns and fan engagement programs
  • Ensure LA28 and Team USA digital engagement teams have access to timely, actionable data to optimize content performance
  • Collaborate with internal Partner Management and Activations (PMA) team to ensure proper data capture and manage project timelines for partner reporting
  • Support day-to-day data processing and data gathering needs for content analysis from internal teams
  • Proactively monitor all data sources and databases for accurate and complete data, addressing any gaps or issues in a timely manner
  • Coordinate Fulfillment of Ad-Hoc Commercial and Consumer Research Requests:
  • Support fulfillment of ad-hoc requests from key stakeholders including Partnership Sales, PMA, External Affairs and Digital Engagement
  • Develop expertise of the various systems and data available, efficiently collecting the most appropriate information for a given request
  • Support the team delivering ad-hoc data requests to stakeholders and defining the best approach across multiple data sources
  • Design and create new deliverables (PowerPoint reports, dashboards, etc.) as appropriate
  • General Team Support:
  • Provide general project management support for the team, including documentation, scheduling, and information hygiene
  • Support media monitoring and social listening efforts with occasional ad-hoc analysis as well as the integration of social listening data with the broader reporting ecosystem
  • Limited support of quantitative research programs (e.g., data table creation and organization) as needed
