Is this position remote or in-person?
This is not a remote position; the intern must be able to work in-person at Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ for the entire duration of the internship.
What is the duration of the internship?
The internship runs from February to October.
What are the expected working hours?
The intern will work a maximum of 25 hours per week, and hours should not exceed 30 hours a week.
What qualifications are required for this internship?
Candidates must be a junior, senior, or within one year after graduation or a postgraduate student obtaining a degree from an accredited college or university.
Is prior experience necessary for this internship?
While prior experience in motion graphics design is preferred, the ideal candidate should exhibit strong skills and a commitment to producing high-quality animated content.
What software skills are required for this position?
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software, specifically After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator, is required. Experience in 3D animation software such as Cinema 4D or Blender is preferred.
What types of projects will the intern work on?
The intern will develop dynamic animated video content for in-game presentations, TV commercials, social media posts, community video projects, and other assignments.
Will the intern be working independently?
The intern is expected to complete production assignments with minimal supervision while collaborating with video producers, graphic designers, and marketing teams.
Is knowledge of baseball a requirement for this position?
While not mandatory, a general knowledge of baseball is preferred for this internship.
