Requirements

  • ​​Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (ongoing) in environment, energy, climate, international development or related field required
  • ​Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • ​Attention to details and strong organizational skills
  • ​Demonstrated ability to function as a team player with people, internally and externally, from various types of organizations, cultural backgrounds, and areas of expertise
  • ​A high degree of internal motivation and the ability to ‘self-start’ and work professionally,
  • ​Ability to manage and advance multiple tasks and responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • ​Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts concisely and compellingly and communicate technical information clearly to a lay audience
  • Unimpeachable ethical standards, confidentiality, and personal integrity​

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the project implementation strategy and model development
  • ​Support in the development and management of research being conducted in the target area
  • Support day-to-day project management and logistics
  • ​Work with the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team to ensure effective project monitoring and conduct data analysis
  • ​Assist in drafting and completing required presentations, reports, and other documentation as needed
  • ​Design and organize activities (e.g., workshops, trainings, webinars) for various stakeholders regarding the project
  • ​Other duties as assigned. ​
