Description

  • The People Experiences Intern will focus on creating and managing the Rakuten International branded merchandise vendor RFP Insight and respective supported employee experience programs. This will entail auditing the Rakuten International scope of businesses for use case, to date service satisfaction, multi-vendor vetting and next step recommendations.
  • This project will require experience across systemization, vendor relations, administrative and end user experience. Individual will work with diverse group of stakeholders across all levels of management and multiple departmental functions. Participate in People Experiences team meetings, provide perspective on team project discussions and support ad hoc employee engagement and culture initiatives (HQ initiatives, employee well-being, employee milestone rewards, and community support) as needed.

  • Strong organizational skills (planning and prioritizing) and follow-through

  • Project management experience (Monday.com experience is a plus)

  • Critical thinker with interest in creative solutions
  • Previous experience in working with branded merchandise vendors, HR-oriented and/or people engagement-oriented roles
  • Graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025
  • Relevant major/area of study
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Relevant prior internship, work or volunteer experience (preferred)
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Human Resources, Communications, Psychology or a related field
