Responsibilities

  • Research investment ideas, including understanding the competitive positioning and strategy of businesses, reviewing accounting information, scenario modelling, valuation analysis
  • Construct investment cases with particular attention to the principles of value investing
  • Attend meetings with Chief Executives, CFOs and other senior management of listed companies, as well as with research analysts at investment banks
  • Prepare agendas and write notes from company meetings
  • Analyze and document Environmental, Social and Governance risks working from MSCI and other data
  • Assist portfolio managers managing the UK equity and potentially other European dividend and value portfolios
  • Attend daily, weekly and other meetings to discuss investment ideas and portfolio construction
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials such as charts and tables
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues across the investment platform and in other departments.
