Requirements

  • Excellent academic credentials (1st Class / strong 2:1 or equivalent); an economics or scientific degree is preferred, but other degrees will also be considered
  • Master's degree (or in progress) strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in private equity, investment banking (M&A/leverage finance) or consulting is preferred, but other corporate internships in the strategy and M&A team will be also considered
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint) as well as external databases (CapIQ/FactSet/Bloomberg)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance and key accounting principles
  • Proactive attitude and sense of initiative
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in international teams
  • Knowledge of foreign languages and international experience will be considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Company and market research (including internal and external databases)
  • Financial analysis, valuation, and modelling
  • Execution of transactions and portfolio monitoring
  • Drafting investment committee materials
  • Maintaining documentation and organising investment materials
