Requirements

  • Completed a minimum of 2 years in an engineering discipline, working toward a BS in Engineering as a full-time student. This is a Year-Round Internship located on-site at our facility in Lincoln, NE.

Responsibilities

  • Working as a Project Engineering Intern you will be working directly with member(s) of the Project Engineering Team providing support for completion of the following tasks:
  • Provide innovative solutions to real world engineering problems, including; challenges with composite materials design, manufacture and tooling.
  • Assisting a PE in their role as an interface to Program Office, to Senior leadership, and to Customer technical staff and Management.
  • Support with problem investigations and resolution across functional areas.
  • Assist in investigation of cutting edge technologies and aid in the development of plans to affect future opportunities through internal research and development and customer relationships.
  • Providing support in preparation of technical proposals, and in preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • Support in the defining of project needs, staffing requirements, and schedule and budget of project(s).
  • Aid PE in updates to program tracking / reporting and development of plans.
  • Work with PE in monitoring projects for progress and scope; aid in monitoring SOW tasks to avoid unplanned or unbudgeted work.
  • Assist in preparation of status reports and presentations.
  • Completion of other tasks as needed to support the Project Engineering team.
