Requirements

  • Must be enrolled and pursuing a degree in, Management Information Systems and Analytics, Computer and Information Sciences, Business Administration and Management, Computer Software Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related program at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies.
  • Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.
  • This internship will require up to 40 hours per week during the Summer 2025 semester.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Region Americas (North and South Americas) Purchasing Development Team on different improvement projects.
  • Prepare reports and work on content preparation for Business Review Meetings.
  • Work with supplier performance indicators in areas such as Quality, Sustainability, Capacity and Cost.
  • Create communication content in our communication channels.
  • Help the creation and deployment of digital tools to support decision making processes.
  • Coordinate our regional training calendar.
  • Participate on Global Meetings with Volvo professionals from other regions.
