What are the responsibilities of the Social Work intern at UCP of Central Florida?
The intern will assist in the implementation of Parent Engagement/Training activities, follow up on referrals for services, schedule classroom tours, provide information and referral for families in need of services, participate in Child Study Team and Threat Assessment Meetings, assist with community awareness/education programs, attend weekly field seminars at the university, and participate in a minimum of one hour of supervision.
What is the required education and training for this internship?
Applicants must be Junior or beyond in a Bachelor of Social Work university program. This is a BSW Internship with a required total of 420 hours per semester (28 hours per week).
