  • We are seeking a highly motivated Software & Automation Intern to join our team for a summer internship. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced engineers to develop and validate automated test plans for pSemi’s RF Front End ICs such as RF switches, LNAs, and Power Amplifiers circuits and systems. You will be responsible for designing, extending, and implementing automation scripts that will enable us to perform test and measurement tasks quickly and accurately.

  • Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills):
  • Solid understanding of basic circuit theory
  • Proficiency with general lab equipment such as: power supplies, o-scopes, multi-meters, spectrum analyzers
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, coding best practices, and software development.
  • Experience with C# or other object-oriented programming languages.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with git for version control and collaboration.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with RF test topics such as: 1 dB compression, smith charts, s-parameters, noise figure, power, pulsed power, and harmonics, etc.
  • Familiarity with RF test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
  • Understanding of design principles for scalability and performance.
  • Experience with automating lab instruments and optimizing measurements for speed.
  • Education Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
