  • Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills):
  • Solid understanding of basic circuit theory
  • Proficiency with general lab equipment such as: power supplies, o-scopes, multi-meters, spectrum analyzers
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, coding best practices, and software development.
  • Experience with C# or other object-oriented programming languages.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with git for version control and collaboration.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with RF test topics such as: 1 dB compression, smith charts, s-parameters, noise figure, power, pulsed power, and harmonics, etc.
  • Familiarity with RF test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
  • Understanding of design principles for scalability and performance.
  • Experience with automating lab instruments and optimizing measurements for speed.
  • Education Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, extend, and validate automated test systems for RFICs
  • Hands on use of RF measurement equipment to validate performance of RFICs
  • Design and implement automation scripts using C# or other scripting languages
  • Perform data analysis and generate reports on test results
  • Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during testing
