  • BioMarin is a leader in creating innovative treatments for severe and life-threatening genetic diseases that have no effective therapies. We target patient populations, often children, with inherited disorders that are often overlooked and difficult to diagnose. Our research and early development teams use cutting-edge genomic data, methods, and technologies to produce best-in-class and first-in-class therapeutics and identify the patients who can benefit from our drugs.
  • We work on drugs in various modalities and across different disease areas. You will join a team at the front of BioMarin's genetic discovery effort. Your work will focus on how the genetics of complex traits relate to disease biology. This position can be remote or hybrid at our San Rafael headquarters. Remote candidates must be able to work on a schedule that overlaps with the Pacific time zone.

Mission & Purpose

Founded in 1997, BioMarin is a global biotechnology company dedicated to transforming lives through genetic discovery. The company develops and commercializes targeted therapies that address the root cause of the genetic conditions that it seeks to treat, helping to better the lives of those struggling with rare genetic disease.
