The intern will assist on various projects within corporate tax and accounting, support state incentive tax credit filings, prepare income tax and miscellaneous tax filings, assist with tax correspondence from all jurisdictions, and help with business and tax research projects.
What educational background is required for this internship?
Candidates should be working towards a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law, with aspirations to attain 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam. Prior tax internship experience is preferred.
What skills are needed for this intern position?
Candidates should have prideful attention to detail, good Excel, Word, and general PC skills, great oral and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize, a desire to conduct research and problem solve, and the ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly.
