Candidates must be currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program, possess strong research and communication skills, and have a demonstrated interest and experience in state climate policy and coalition building. Additionally, candidates should be innovative in communicating complex materials, responsible, flexible, collaborative, hard-working, and committed to the mission of the U.S. Climate Alliance. Fluency in English, the ability to meet attendance policies, and work well under pressure are also required.

The intern will track climate actions and policies, provide input into strategic plans, prepare materials for meetings and workshops, support state implementation, track funding opportunities, and assist with additional tasks as needed.
